The Pullwood Estate is a beautiful corner of the Lakes and Curlew Close is perfect for a family holiday or a romantic getaway.  But we know you need some more information about what you can expect to find when you arrive so here are some details about the cottage and helpful information to make the most of your stay.

We think Pullwood is a perfect location, close to the amenities of Ambleside and yet feels like you’re lost in the Lakes.  We’ve included a map that highlights some of our favourite places but we’re sure you’ll do some exploring of your own so drop us a line or post on the Facebook page if you’d like us to add some of your favourite spots.

Not surprisingly both the house and the estate have a rich history, from its origins as the country retreat of a Victorian industrialist to a boys school during the war years. We’ve managed to dig up some of Pullwood Estate’s past including the association with the famous Swallows & Amazons, but maybe you can help us find out more?
